Scilla
Ideal for naturalising. Shiny basal leaves and racemes of bowl shaped flowers. A new addition to our catalogue is S. peruviana which is a real ‘must have’ for the garden being much larger than most Scilla types, having strong stems supporting many small flowers, creating a globe effect. Scilla are happy in any well-drained, moist soil. Can easily be divided once clumps become over crowded. Plant 10cm deep 7cm apart 150 per sq metre. S. peruviana 15cm deep 15cm apart 50 per sq metre.
